These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
About the Service
NewTabChat provides a simple interface for you to enter text, including text generated through your device's voice-to-text features, and then opens a deep link to a third-party AI or chatbot with the provided input. We do not host, operate, or control any third-party AI services; we only assist with generating or forwarding a deep link.
This site is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or its AI services, or xAI or Grok, or OpenAI or ChatGPT. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
User Eligibility and Age
The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent, do not use the Service. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.
User Content & Data Processing
You are solely responsible for any text you enter, including text generated through your device's voice-to-text features. By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your input may be included in the deep link and sent to the third-party AI or chatbot when the link is opened.
- We do not control how third-party AI services collect, use, retain, or share data once you are redirected to them; their privacy policies and terms apply.
- We may log minimal technical metadata (such as timestamp, deep-link target, and referrer) for operational and troubleshooting purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Third-Party Services and Charges
The third-party AI or chatbot you access via deep link may have its own usage policies, rate limits, subscription requirements, or per-request charges. NewTabChat is not responsible for any fees, data usage charges, or other costs imposed by third-party services or by your network or data provider.
Notices & Jurisdictional Requirements
Privacy and data-protection laws vary by region (for example, GDPR in the EU or certain U.S. state laws). Any required notices or consents related to personal data or automated processing are the responsibility of the third-party AI service you access through the deep link. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave NewTabChat.
No Warranty; Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewTabChat and its owners disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You understand and agree that you use the Service and any third-party AI outputs at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NewTabChat is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, or charges imposed by third parties.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NewTabChat from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, USA.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
